Logistics

We recommend that you take the opportunity to visit Berlin, as this city has so much to offer! It’s best to book your stay in the eastern side of Berlin, such as Pankow, Prenzlauer Berg, or Friedrichshain. These neighborhoods are well situated.

If you prefer accommodations closer to the wedding venue, Bernau bei Berlin has some nice options and is only 14 km away from the Event-Hangar.

To the church: The church is just next to the U-Bahn station Südstern (U7).

From church to Event-Hangar: See shuttle service.

From Event-Hangar back home: The event-Hangar is located in Werneuchen, Your can take the RB25 with a direct connection to Berlin Ostkreuz. If needed, we can organize a shuttle from the Event-Hangar to Werneuchen train station.

Alternatively, the shuttle can bring you to Bernau bei Berlin from where you can take the S-Bahn S2 with a direct connection to Berlin city center (e.g. Brandenburger Tor).

We do not recommend to take taxi from church to hangar (way too costly). Take the shuttle for the guests instead!

It is possible to order a taxi from the event hangar to Berlin. Estimated cost to go to Pankow at night is approx. 80-90 EUR. ​Ordering Uber or Bolt should be cheaper and we recommend to use this service instead.

Fancy sleeping in a camper? At the Event-Hangar in Werneuchen there is a camping site just behind the hangar, where you would be allowed to park your camper.

Depending on the demand, we are considering organizing shuttle service. Two options are considered:

• Shuttle from church to the Event-Hangar - after the wedding ceremony guests would be transported from the church to the wedding location by bus (one or more).

• Shuttle from Event-Hangar to Berlin Gesundbrunnen (S-Bahn Station) - during the wedding party two shuttle services at fix times (not defined yet) would transport you to the S-Bahn station if needed.
